CDMS Technical Overview

 

Introduction
The School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences (CDMS) co-shares it’s computer laboratories with the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment (EDBE) at the Campbelltown, Parramatta Engineering Innovation Hub (PEIH), Parramatta South, and Penrith campuses. These computer laboratories are maintained by the Schools Specialist Teaching and Research (SSTaRS) team within the University’s Information Technology and Digital Services group. These computers use the same username and passwords as the University’s general computer laboratories.

Hours of operation: 9am – 6pm Monday – Friday during semester.

Parramatta Engineering Innovation Hub (PEIH)

Hours of operation: 8am – 10pm Monday – Friday during semester.

Parramatta South

Hours of operation: 9am – 6pm Monday – Friday during semester.

All laboratories are closed on public holidays, and selected laboratories are open 9am – 6pm during university holidays.

The SSTaRS team also provides remote access to both physical and virtual desktops via VMWare Horizon.
